Ernesto Felix

ARIZONA CITY — Ernesto Felix, 79, of Arizona City died on Aug. 23, 2012, at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel in Eloy, with rosary recited at noon. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church by the Rev. Juan Carlos Aguirre. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Felix was born on June 30, 1933, in Mexico. He was a farm foreman and a member of St. Helen's Church. He liked to play bingo and go on trips to casinos and was an avid Diamondbacks fan. He loved spending time with his family and had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife, Hortencia G.; five daughters, Mary Greenley and Betty Blue of Arizona City, Consuelo Arreola of Tucson, Clara and Ramona Felix of Phoenix; a son, Lupe Felix of Arizona City; three sisters, Maria J. Pasos of Picacho, Edilia Oroz of Casa Grande and Enriquetta Marin of Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Felix, and a son, Edward Felix.
