Ernesto Juarez Romero

Ernesto Juarez Romero, 91, of Casa Grande died on June 18, 2022.

Mr. Romero was born in Del Rio, Texas, on June 4, 1931, to Nicolas Romero and Rosa Juarez. He enjoyed life and was well loved, a hard worker and very supportive of his family. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed bowling, fishing, hiking, playing solitaire, western movies, dancing and music.One of his favorite hobbies was creating art out of soda cans. He was a very social individual and enjoyed walks. He was known for his laughter and wonderful stories he told.

He is survived by five sons and daughters, Ernesto Romero Jr., Ruben Romero, Rebecca Apodaca, Olivia Khoo and Dora Gutierrez; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three siblings.

Visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Rosary recited at 10 and funeral Mass celebrated at 10:30. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
