Esequile Tellez

**In Loving Memory of Esequiel Tellez Sr.**

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Esequiel Tellez Sr. on December 22, 2024. He graced this world with his presence on February 19, 1975, as the cherished son of Rogelio and Julia Tarango.

Esequiel was known for his unwavering dedication and passion for coaching boxing, where he inspired many with his commitment and spirit. A true blue-collar hard worker, he took immense pride in lending a helping hand to others, embodying the values of kindness and strength. His love for his children and grandchildren was boundless, and he often found solace in the company of dogs, which he believed to be kindred spirits. His tenacity and fighting spirit remained ever-present until his final days.

Esequiel is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Julia Tarango. He leaves behind a legacy filled with love and memories through his children: Ezequiel Tellez Jr., Eyliana Tellez, and Elijah Tellez, along with his four cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his devoted father, Rogelio Tarango, and his siblings: Noe Tarango, Yvonne Valadez, Eduvina Quintero, and Hector Tarango.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ezequiel's remarkable life at a service on Friday, January 17, 2025. The day will commence with an 8:00 AM visitation at Valley Chapel, followed by a 10:00 AM rosary and a 10:30 AM mass at St. Helen of the Cross. He will be laid to rest at Eloy Memorial Park.

Though we mourn the loss of Esequiel Tellez Sr., we also take this time to reflect on the joyful memories he created and the love he shared. He will be profoundly missed but lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
