Esther O Ruelas

STANFIELD — Esther O. Ruelas, 57, of Stanfield died on March 1, 2024, in Casa Grande.

Ms. Ruelas was born on Feb. 8, 1967, in Florence. She lived in Stanfield for 26 years after moving from Casa Grande. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends.

She loved playing bingo, dancing and listening to music. She was the life of the party and loved making everyone laugh and helping them. She loved her job and her clients as well as spending time with her family and spoiling them. They were her happiness and her life.

Survivors include her husband, Carlos Manzanarez; two daughters, Felisha Mejia Valenzuela of Casa Grande and Maria Mejia Moroyoqui of Stanfield; five siblings, Ida Mejia of Casa Grande, Daniel Mejia of Stanfield, Irma Chavarin, Mary Rodriguez and Alice Sanchez, all of Casa Grande; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Augustina Angelica Mejia; her parents, Maria O'Dell and Daniel Mejia; two sisters, Elia Avila and Lucia Mejia; and two brothers, Augustine and Lionel Mejia.

Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, at  J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande. Visitation beginning at 9 a.m., rosary recited at 9:30 and funeral Mass celebrated at 10 on Friday, March 15, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
