Longtime Casa Grande resident Eunice Tucker, 78, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, after an 18-year battle with ovarian cancer.
Mrs. Tucker was born on Aug. 17, 1935, in Ecorse, Michigan, and settled in Casa Grande in 1980. She was active in the community for more than 20 years as proprietor of Leo Images Photography. She chronicled special events for hundreds of Casa Grande families before her retirement and remained active in charity endeavors of Casa Grande Valley Elks Lodge, where she was a trustee until recently.
Survivors include three daughters, Debra Kraus and Linda Procida of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, and Gayle Jozwiak of Casa Grande; a stepson and stepdaughter, B.Z. Zimmerman and Janice Luellig of Casa Grande; a sister, Wanda McTigue of Casa Grande; two brothers, Hubert of Madison Heights, Michigan, and Rollin of Casa Grande; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held later.
Memorial contributions may be made to Casa Grande Valley Elks Lodge children’s charity.
