COOLIDGE - Eva L. Garcia, 86, died on Jan. 9, 2017, in Chandler with her family by her side.
Mrs. Garcia was born in Casa Grande on Jan. 3, 1931, and was a daughter of Antonio and Gavina Lara. Together with her beloved husband, Mike Garcia, she brought 13 children into the world.
She was devoted to her family and very proud of all her children. She was a kind and caring woman who loved to cook and feed everyone. She was a member of a mariachi group along with her husband and several friends, singing at St. James Catholic Church, the Pinal County Nursing Home and various celebrations and functions. As a member of St. James Church, she donated her time by working at the annual fiesta, in rosary making and the Cursillo Group.
