Evelyn Lucille Martin

CASA GRANDE - Evelyn Lucille Martin, 93, of Casa Grande died on July 7, 2019.

Mrs. Martin was a daughter of David Augusta and Vida Bettis. She was a founding member and served on the Board of Directors for the Early Intervention Program. She was very active with the Human Rights Committee supporting the developmentally disabled in Arizona and was an active member for numerous years with ARC, an agency protecting the rights of the intellectually and developmentally disabled.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Noel, and three sisters, Maxine Gartman, Reba Hogg and Sallie Taylor. She is survived by five daughters and sons, Georgia L. Martin of Yucca Valley, California, Thomas L. Martin of Casa Grande, Gerry A. Lugo of North Chesterfield, Virginia, Marcus D. Martin and Cathy O. Gustafson, both of Casa Grande; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Chapel service at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 12, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with reception following at the J. Warren Gardens reception building.
