Fernando Montalvo, 61, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020 in Chandler, AZ.
He is survived by his beloved children, Zacharia, Brooklin, Jesse, and Justyn; his favorite son-in-law Ardell, and his wonderful daughters-in-law Nicole and Grisel. He leaves behind 12 grandchildren he adored. He is survived by his siblings Connie Jackson and Carmen Olavarietta of Arizona City, AZ; Janie Fernandez, Joe Montalvo, Frank Montalvo and Mary Alejandro of Casa Grande, AZ; and Norberto Montalvo of Union City, CA. He is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Marta Montalvo, and his brothers Pete Montalvo and Jesse Montalvo, and his sister Olivia Rodriguez.
Fernando was born on July 8, 1958 in Casa Grande, Arizona. His bright smile and the twinkle in his eyes that let you know he was going to share his happiness with you. He was a great jokester and storyteller. He lived life for his children, grandchildren, and family. Not only was he a loving father to his own children, he was a father figure to many more. He was a mechanic by trade and was always helping others repair their vehicles and often helping them fix things in their lives as well. He will be remembered as always leaving his door open for those who needed a place to go, just as he opened his heart to everyone.
A viewing will be held at J. Warren Funeral Chapel, 525 N. Peart Rd in Casa Grande, AZ on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
