Fernando Henry Rivas

BLACKWATER - Fernando Henry Rivas, 82, died April 14, 2007 at Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix.

The wake will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday at the District 1 Service Center. The graveside service will be at 8 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.

Mr. Rivas was born June 20, 1924 in Marana and was a son of Mike and Josephine Rivas. He served in the Navy and was a laborer.

Survivors include a son, Ken Rivas of Tahlequah, Okla., and a brother, Ignacio Rivas of Los Angeles. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary M. (Lewis); two brothers, Timothy and Paul Rivas; and a sister, Sarah Francisco.
