Fidelis Reed

SANTAN — Fidelis Gabriel Reed, 67, of Santan died on Nov. 26, 2011, at home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Lupe Reed home in Santan, with rosary recited at 5. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Mission. Burial will be in Santan Day School Cemetery.
Mr. Reed was born on Nov. 1, 1944, in Santan and was a son of Frank and Alice Reed. He was a farm foreman before retiring from Gila River Farms. He liked to help people, was happy and always had a smile on his face. He was devoted to his family and enjoyed watching WWE wrestling, cooking and eating popovers.
Survivors include five daughters, Karinda Reed, Clarissa Rodriguez and Ladania Reed, all of Santan, Martha and Mary Alice Reed of Sacaton; two brothers, Sheldon Reed of Santan and Sylvester Reed of Tempe; two sisters, Bernadette Reed of Chandler and Lupe Reed of Santan; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonita; three brothers, Benedict, Delton and Anthony Reed; and two sisters, Leota Marrietta and Corrie Reed.
