Floyd Melvin Antone

Floyd Melvin Antone, aged 85, of Sacaton, Arizona, peacefully passed away at home on September 2, 2024. He was born on December 22, 1938, in Casa Blanca, to Felix Anton and Nadine Jackson.

Floyd had a passion for word searches and enjoyed listening to chicken scratch and Christian music. He loved watching Professional Bull Riding (PBR), and he cherished the time spent with his great-grandchild. With a fondness for dining out, he particularly valued moments shared with family. Floyd lived a long, peaceful and fulfilling life surrounded by those he loved.

He is survived by his son, Kerwin L. Antone, and his granddaughter, Maureen Kalka, who played a significant role in his care, as well as seven grandchildren. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, his son Ronald Wayne Antone, his brothers Delmer and Harold Antone, his sister Barbara Jackson-Pablo, and one granddaughter.

A wake in his honor will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 6:00 PM at 254 W. Palo Verde Circle, Sacaton. Burial will follow the next morning at 6am, Vah Ki Cemetery in Casa Blanca.
