LAVEEN - Frances Carmen Anselmo, 76, of Laveen died on April 30, 2018, at Hospice of the Valley Lund Home in Gilbert.
Mrs. Anselmo was born on May 25, 1941, in Marana to Jose and Theresa (Romero) Listo. A devoted member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, she served with the rosary group.
She ministered and served her community alongside her late husband, Deacon Clement N. Anselmo. She enjoyed being with her family, including her grandchildren, the past few years.
Survivors include two sons, Francisco J. Anselmo of Sacaton and Victor F. Contreras; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many godchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband four years ago; two sons, Jose and Ruben Contreras; three sisters; and a brother.
Funeral Mass celebrated at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 11, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Laveen. Wake to begin at 8 p.m. at the District 6 Learning Center. Burial at sunrise on Saturday, May 12, in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
