Frances Tapia Arellano, 69, of Casa Grande died on Dec. 4, 2012, at home.
The memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with the Rev. Felix Rodriguez and Pastor Diego Galvan officiating.
Mrs. Arellano was born on Oct. 31, 1943, in Florence and was a daughter of Frank C. Tapia and Manuela Robles. She was a nurse and was Catholic. She enjoyed sewing and cooking, and her family meant the most to her.
Survivors include her husband, Heriberto; two sons, Alfred "Freddy" and Samuel F. Arellano of Casa Grande; a daughter, Normalicia Arellano of Chandler; two brothers, Rudy Tapia of Santa Maria, Calif., and Jimmy Tapia of Casa Grande; three sisters, Christina Tapia of Chandler, Margaret Drake of Tempe and Bertha Nogales of Tucson; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Tapia Jr., and two sisters, Esther Caloca and Carmen Martinez.
