Frances C. Gastelum, 87, of Casa Grande, passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 26, 2020. Frances was born on October 11, 1932 to her parents, Eusebio and Isabela Colmenero. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Frank Gastelum Sr.; daughter, Debra Rodriguez; brothers, Jimmie Colmenero and Eusebio Colmenero Jr; sister, Mary Martinez; and grandson, Ricky Moreno. Frances is the devoted mother of Linda (Juan) Jurado, Rosie (Manuel) Robles, Frankie (Eloise) Gastelum, Martha (Alex) Rendon, Cynthia (Andy) Gastelum, Stella (Tommy) Lopez, all of Casa Grande and Joey (Rita) Gastelum of San Antonio, Texas; a dear sister of Irene Robles of Mesa, Carmen Ballesteros and Dolores Holguin both of Tucson; cherished grandmother of 28 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren. She was a longtime member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and later attended the Apostolic Tabernacle Church in Casa Grande. Frances enjoyed listening to music and dancing where she was always the life of the party. She also loved cooking for the family, her specialties were tacos and her famous potato salad. She created what became a family tradition of meeting on Fridays for lunch with her family. She always had a big smile and for those she loved it was an unconditional genuine love. Throughout her life Frances touched the hearts of many and will be missed by all.
