Frances H. Ingram

Frances H. Ingram, 90, died peacefully in Casa Grande on Oct. 20, 2007.


Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens House. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday in The Gardens Chapel. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Ingram was born Sept. 20, 1917 in Ada, Okla. She married Shirley "Buck" Ingram in 1935 and later moved to Morenci, where two sons were born. After moving to Stanfield, Mrs. Ingram and her husband worked on Louis Johnson's farm and later owned Ingram's Welding Shop in Stanfield. She worked several years at Stanfield School.

She was very active in Stanfield Baptist Church and enjoyed church gatherings and hosting socials. She was known for her friendly attitude and great sense of humor. She loved cooking, gardening and taking care of her family. After her husband's death she moved to Casa Grande to be near her son and his family.

Survivors include a son, Stan Ingram, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years and a son, Steve.
