Frances Juan

BLACKWATER — Frances Carmen Juan, 66, of Blackwater died on June 7, 2011, at Trillium Specialty Hospital in Mesa.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Juan home in Blackwater. The rosary service will begin at 10 p.m. at San Luis Catholic Mission. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 5 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in San Luis Cemetery.
Mrs. Juan was born on Oct. 1, 1944, in Covered Wells. She was a homemaker and loved cooking, dancing to chicken scratch music and taking care of her plants. She also enjoyed listening to country music and helping and doing things for the community. She enjoyed talking, listening to and spending time with family and friends. She loved being with and taking care of her grandchildren.
Survivors include three sons, Daniel, Ronald and Donald Juan, all of Blackwater; two daughters, Chandra Juan of Blackwater and Tanya Osife of Casa Blanca; a brother, Wilbert Santos of San Luis; two sisters, Mary Francisco and Lucy Guerra of San Luis; her father, Jose Santos of San Luis; and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; her mother, Clara Lopez; and five brothers.
