Frances Martha Stephens

Frances Martha Stephens, 89, of Ak-Chin died on Dec. 20, 2022.

Ms. Stephens was born in Sells on May 20, 1933, to Antonio Martinez and Delphina Miguel. 

She was a caring, loving mother and grandmother.

She loved making traditional baskets and enjoyed being outdoors. She was a good friend to many.

She is survived by two daughters and a son, Joann, Stanley and Odelia Stephens; 20 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. She was preceded by two daughters, Brenda and Jennifer Stephens; two sisters; and three brothers.

Wake beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, at the family home, 46968 W. Farrell Road. Funeral Mass celebrated at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Mission. Burial in Ak-Chin Cemetery.
