CASA BLANCA - Francis Wilson, 72, died on July 15, 2014, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.
The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Monday in the District 5 Service Center gym. The celebration of life will be at 7 a.m. Tuesday at Warriors for Christ Church, with Pastor Ramon Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be in Bapchule Cemetery.
Mr. Wilson was born on May 26, 1942, in Phoenix and was a son of Woodrow Wilson and Lottie Macil. He worked in agriculture, was always active and was a pastor at Warriors for Christ in Casa Blanca.
He enjoyed life, the outdoors, hunting, reading his Bible, preaching, singing and playing his guitar. He was very sociable, liked to cook and loved his family.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Gloria; a daughter, Dorinda Wilson of Casa Blanca; two sons, Cisco Wilson and Isidro Rico Jr. of Casa Blanca; a brother, Everette Wilson of Casa Blanca; and a grandchild. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rachael Burke.
