Francisco Bolanos-Cortez

Francisco “Pancho” Bolaños aged 43, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on July 15, 2024. He was a beloved father, husband, uncle, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Francisco “Pancho” Bolaños was born on October 4, 1980, to Lazara Martinez and Jose Bolanos in Sonoyta, Sonora, Mexico and migrated to Arizona in 1987 where he spent his formative years. He went on to attend Santa Cruz Valley Union High in Eloy, Az. He worked for the City of Eloy as a utility operator. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others.

Yet all else, Pancho’s greatest joy stemmed from being a devoted father, the love for his daughters was immeasurable; together they shared countless moments outdoors with beloved livestock. Known for his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, Francisco’s kindness and generosity knew no bounds.

In his free time, Pancho enjoyed collecting hot wheels, working on cars and maintaining his livestock, and was always eager to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with others.

Francisco is now reunited with his father, Jose Bolanos who preceded him in death. He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will continue through the memories held by his loving wife Yesenia Valenzuela, his children, Perla Bolaños, Jaspe Bolaños and Jade Bolaños, his mother Lazara Martinez and Stepfather Jose Beltran Lopez, his siblings Victor Bolanos, Rosa Cazares, Carlos Bolanos, Jazmin Mendoza, Jose Antonio Bolanos, David Bolanos, Silvia Bolanos, Javier Bolanos, and Raul Bolanos. The impact of Francisco's presence will forever be cherished by all those fortunate enough to have known him.

As we come together to honor Francisco's life, may we take solace in the profound impact this remarkable individual had on each of us. May his memory serve as a guiding light illuminating our hearts during sorrow and joy alike.

Services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2024, with a 5:00 PM Visitation at Valley Chapel. On Tuesday, July 23 at 8:00 AM a Memorial service will be held at Valley Chapel  with the burial immediately following at Eloy Memorial Park.
