Francisco "Frank" Martinez

TUCSON - Francisco "Frank" Martinez Jr., 61, died on June 15, 2020, in Dallas.

Mr. Martinez was born to Frank and Hilda Janie Martinez on Nov. 22, 1958, in Casa Grande. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially watching his nieces and nephews play sports. He was the life of the party and ready to dance the night away.

He received an Associate of Business Administration degree from Mesa Community College, where he played center field in baseball, and a Bachelor of Arts in business management from Arizona State University. He had a career in construction and housing development. His hobbies included watching and attending sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona State, playing golf, listening to various genres of music and coaching youth baseball.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Lizette Mu�oz; his father of Eloy and mother of Chandler; five siblings, Josie Johnson of Scottsdale, Yolanda Leos of Arizona City, Eddie Martinez of Casa Grande, Rick Martinez of Casa Grande and Jeanette Beachum of Chandler; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Monica Leos.
