Frank Durant

Frank "Skeet" Durant, 75, of Blanco, Okla., died on Sept. 17, 2012, in McAlester, Okla.
The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Mountain View Cemetery, with Bill Stout officiating.
Mr. Durant was born on March 11, 1937, in Bennington, Okla., and was a son of Willie and Lillie (Penny) Durant. His father was an original enrollee of the Choctaw Nation. He worked in construction and loved to sing and play guitar, beginning when he was 6.
Survivors include two sons, Allen of Atoka, Okla, and Randy of Stanfield; three daughters, Debra of Atoka, Donna of Las Vegas, Nev., and Tamera of Washington; a stepdaughter, Carrie of New Mexico; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Mitchell and Pete; an infant daughter; and a granddaughter.
