Frank Garcia

Frank Garcia, 23, of Florence died Jan. 13, 2008 in Florence.


Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the family home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Mission in Blackwater by the Rev. Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in Blackwater Cemetery.

Mr. Garcia was born Nov. 22, 1984 in Phoenix. He was an electrician apprentice and an easy-going person. He enjoyed building model cars, going out with friends, joking and playing with his sisters, and visiting with his family. He liked basketball and was a big fan of the Phoenix Suns. He liked playing on computers.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Susie Garcia and John J. Cornett Jr. of Florence; his father, Rogelio Gastelum Jr. of ChuiChu; two brothers, Gabriel Gastelum and Arturo Garcia of Florence; two sisters, Jacqueline and Jonnie Cornett of Florence; and grandparents, Anita Garcia of Eloy, Angela and Victor Zepeda of ChuiChu. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Frank Garcia in 1997.
