Frank Ortiz,

Frank Serpa Ortiz Jr., 52, of Casa Grande died on Jan. 23, 2013, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 by the Rev. Felix Rodriguez. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road in Phoenix.
Mr. Ortiz was born on Jan. 27, 1960, in Phoenix. He served in the Marine Corps' 4th Marines, 3rd Marine Division. He later worked as a welder and owned Phrancs Candles and Stuff, an online business. He attended St. Anthony's Church and loved his family, especially his children. He enjoyed fishing, golf and making candles.
Survivors include a son, Jason Frank Ortiz of Casa Grande; a daughter, Malinda M. Ortiz of Phoenix; his parents, Rosie and Frank Ortiz Sr. of Phoenix; a brother, Eddie Ortiz of Scottsdale; two sisters, Vivian R. Sotelo of Phoenix and Anita D. Currie of Buckeye; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Albert S. Ortiz.
