SANTAN — Frank M. Ramon, 73, of Santan died on Feb. 7, 2011, at Hospice Family Care in Casa Grande.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 4 Service Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Mission by the Rev. Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Ramon was born on Dec. 29, 1937, in Sacaton and was a son of John A. and Susanna Ramon. He was a housekeeper for the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs for 15 years. He attended St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Sacaton and St. Anne in Santan. He enjoyed listening to music and cruising the Gila River Indian Community from end to end. A very generous man, he enjoyed helping people.
Survivors include a daughter, Mariam Pesqueira of Santan; two stepdaughters, Gloria Setoyant of Santan and Clorinda Vivcaina of Chandler; a brother, Robert Ramon of Sacaton; a sister, Pauline Ramon of Santan; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Amanda Lewis Ramon; a daughter, Agatha M. Ramon-Emmerson; a brother, Leonard Ramon; and three sisters, Anastacia Marrietta, Eula Gerlaugh and Vernetta Ramon.
