ELOY - Frank V. Salazar, Jr., 58, of Eloy, died Oct. 20 at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.
He was born on Oct. 28, 1958, in Eloy to Soledad (Villescaz) and Frank Salazar Sr.
Mr. Salazar and the love of his life, Mary, were married for 41 years. They met in high school and were married in Eloy.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and loved his grandchildren. He taught them all their first word, "Tata."
He was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan and a New York Yankees baseball fan. He also was a collector of step-side trucks.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Frank Salazar III and Michael Salazar; three daughters, Raquel, Desiree and Lamia Salazar; a brother, Juan Salazar; four sisters, Alice Salazar, Herminia Alas, Connie Macias and Susie Salazar; 20 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Demetria Salazar and granddaughter Mary Salazar-Chavarria.
Funeral mass at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Eloy on Tuesday, Oct. 31. Visitation at 9 a.m.; Rosary at 10 a.m. and funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.
