Freda Mae Conatser-Linley was born in Rural, Fannin County, Texas on September 20th, 1924. Her parents were William Hayes Conatser and Retta Reynolds. Freda had 12 siblings.
In the time of the dust bowl, her family moved to California, where she met her husband, Leburn Lee Linley. They eloped with their best friends Alfred Webster and Opal Evans on July 25th 1940. Freda was a homemaker, she was a strong, loyal, compassionate wife and mother.
Her love for her family was boundless. She was a wonderful cook, her love of Christmas and cooking will always be remembered. She loved to tell stories about her childhood and family. Her favorite thing in this world was having her family around and the sound of their laughter. Music was always playing in the house, she said, playing music helped with doing chores, (her children were not too sure about that : )
She had a blest wonderful life, full of memories and laughter.

Five grandchildren, Shannon Lucano, Jason Linley, Denise Linley, Tricia Linley, Tara Linley, and four great grandchildren.

She will be remembered as the Mom who loved and greeted the friends of her children, as they were her own.
