Frederick Fritz

Frederick Lawrence Fritz, 80, of Casa Grande died on March 15, 2011, at Hospice Family Care after a brief illness, complications from cancer.
Inurnment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, in Phoenix.
Mr. Fritz was born on April 2, 1930, in Laurel, Del., where he was raised. Known as “Fritz” by many friends, he served honorably in the Air Force for seven years and became a staff sergeant. He later trained for and became an environmental control specialist for the state of Delaware. He enjoyed fishing, swimming and hiking. At home he liked cooking and watching movies.
Survivors include his former wife, Janette of Delaware; a stepbrother, Darrel Wood of Casa Grande; a stepson, Fred J. Ellingsworth of Casa Grande; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, William, James and Theodore, and two sisters, Bella and Kathleen.
