CASA BLANCA - Frederick Jon Charles, 51, died on Jan. 13, 2016, at Hospice of the Valley Dobson Home in Chandler.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at the District 6 Service Center. The graveside service will be at 8 a.m. Wednesday in Santan Day School Cemetery, with Pastor Marshall Yazzie officiating.
Mr. Charles was born on Jan. 17, 1964, in Sacaton. He worked for tribal government and liked listening to music and cruising around. Most of all he loved being with his family and friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Anjanette R. and Lucia M. Charles of Sacaton; his foster mother, Ethel Allison of Laveen; two sisters, Karen E. Davis of Bapchule and Marceline Lyons-Jackson of Laveen; and five brothers, Edward and Mervin Lyons of Casa Blanca, Thomas, Frankie and Glenn Juan, all of Laveen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Esau Charles and Faustina DeLowe.
