Gary D Helton

CASA GRANDE - Gary D. Helton, 65, of Casa Grande died on Sept. 26, 2017, at home.
Mr. Helton was born on Aug. 3, 1952, in Casa Grande to Ida Mae and Barney Helton II. He was a musician, an athlete, a builder and was devoted to his family and friends. He was passionate about the things and people he loved.
He was quick with a joke and always knew how to cheer people up. He was described as deep and philosophical and yet lighthearted and humorous.
Survivors include his four adult children, Esther Liebe and Rachel, Jesse and Nathan Helton; his mother, Ida Mae Young; a brother, Dennis Young; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Lanette Logue-Buice.
Memorial service at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with reception following.
