Gary Dittloff

Gary David Dittloff, 76, of Casa Grande died on Aug. 17, 2015, at Hospice of the Valley Dobson Home in Chandler, with his beloved wife by his side.

The service will be held later.

Mr. Dittloff was born on Dec. 29, 1938, in Wild Rose, Wisconsin, to Robert and Bernice Dittloff. The family moved to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, in 1944. He married Mary Abel on Jan. 24, 1970, and they moved to Scottsdale in 1999 and Casa Grande upon retirement in 2009.

He was a school and church custodian in Wisconsin and a wrangler for an Arizona guest ranch. He also helped build and maintain golf courses in Arizona. He was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church and a fan of the Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals.

In addition to his wife and best friend of 45-plus years, survivors include a daughter, Dana Huempfner of Wisconsin; a brother, Dick Dittloff; and a sister, Caroline Auler. He was preceded in death by three siblings.
