Gene Clonts

Donald Eugene Clonts passed away January 5, 2012 at his residence. Donald was born on November 23, 1931 in Jerome, AZ and after serving
in the U.S. Navy, became a farmer. He enjoyed his family, working crossword puzzles and the Phoenix Suns. Donald also bowled and worked with Jr. League bowling teams.
He is survived by one daughter, Theresa Clonts of Casa Grande, AZ; one brother, Cordyce Clonts of Apple Springs, TX; four grandchildren, Michelle Jewell and Michael (Katie) Jewell both of Casa Grande, AZ, Charles "CJ" Crockford of Colorado Springs, CO, and Cheryl Clonts of Ramah, CO; and one great-grandchild, Bailey Jewell of Casa Grande, AZ.
Donald was preceded in death by his wife Mary Clonts, son Wayne Clonts, brother Franklin Clonts, sisters Gertrude Payne and Viola Ray, and his parents Cabe Clonts and Mabel G. Greenhill Clonts.
Visitation will be Monday, January 9, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. at Cole & Maud the Gardens Chapel, and a celebration of life service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Darwin Chandler will be officiating. Arrangements are being handled by J. Warren Funeral Services
