Geno Ray Madonia

MARICOPA — Geno Ray Madonia, 56, of Maricopa died on June 23, 2013, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service is planned in Illinois.

Mr. Madonia was born on Oct. 15, 1956, in Chicago. He was a general contractor and loved all Chicago sports teams, especially the Bears. He was a joker and very funny but had a heart of gold and always made people smile. He liked to read, go camping and be surrounded by family and friends.

Survivors include his soulmate of 27 years, Betty Voyles,; two daughters, Lisa Hogg and Gena Pontious; seven grandchildren Daniel, Sadie, Corey, Samuel, Robert, Benjamin and Skylar;His father, Cal; four brothers, four sisters. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Madonia, and a brother, Mike Madonia.
