ARIZONA CITY - George Campbell Valenzuela Jr., 77, of Arizona City died on Sept. 17, 2016, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Valenzuela was born on July 8, 1939, in Phoenix to George and Beatrice Valenzuela. He was devoted to his family and a hard worker. He was a volunteer fire chief as well as a Lions club member. For years he was a business owner.
He was very active and loved the outdoors, playing the Indian flute and four-wheeling. He had a very strong sense of humor, always joking around.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Norma; two adult children, Teri and Mark Hamilton; two brothers, Pat Valenzuela and Joey C. Herrera; three sisters, Prescilla Walker, Tina Mendoza and Elizabeth Estrada; and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by
a daughter, Shawna Valenzuela, and two brothers, Jimmy and Paul C. Valenzuela.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande. The funeral there will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Heritage Valley Memorial Park in Coolidge.
