George Ellis Hatt, 73, of Casa Grande died on Aug. 16, 2011.
The celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 10 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
Mr. Hatt was born on Dec. 3, 1937, in Great Falls, Mont., and was a son of Ellis L. Hatt and Rhea Keller. He attended Portland State University and Oregon State University. He owned and operated Hatt Construction in San Francisco and Special Products of Oregon in Medford. He was president of Bay Area Contractors Association, president of Western Contractors Association, regional vice president of National Association of Home Builders, member of the city planning commission in Needles, Calif., president of several homeowners associations and junior warden at St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Candy L.; seven sons and daughters, Corrine Hatt of Berkeley, Calif., Russell Hatt of San Diego, Michele Vignaroli of Danville, Calif., Christopher Hatt of Laytonville, Calif., Lisa Hart of Novato, Calif., Holly Hatt of San Diego and Shauna Haley of Bend, Ore.; two stepchildren, Frank Martin of Granite Bay, Calif., and Bernard Martin of San Jose, Calif.; and 17 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Dwayne.
