George Ralph Cooper, 73, of Casa Grande died on April 20, 2012, at Hospice Family Care.
The celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Cobb officiating.
Mr. Cooper was born on Feb. 24, 1939, in Paris, Texas, and was a son of James R. and Florene Cooper. He graduated from Casa Grande Union High School and from Northern Arizona University with a degree in marketing and management. He served in the Army's 101st Airborne Division. He retired in 2000 after working in sales and management for Western Beef Inc. and Westway Trading Corp. for more than 30 years.
He was a member of California and Arizona Cattle Feeders associations and Elks in Casa Grande. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending summers in the White Mountains with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki L.; a son, Brian K. Cooper of Brawley, Calif.; a daughter, Carrie L. Martinez of Gilbert; and a sister, Bobbie J. Stewart of Yuma. He was preceded in death by a brother, James C. Cooper.
