George T. Zanone, 60, of Casa Grande died Oct. 1, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix.
A celebration of life will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday at Casa Grande Valley Elks Lodge.
Mr. Zanone was born in Mount Holly, N.J., and was a son of George and Eleanor Zanone. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was an electrical engineer working in semiconductor equipment repair. He was known as a perfectionist who could solve problems quickly for customers and took great pride in his work. He had an ability to find humor even in stressful times on the job.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria; two daughters, Maribeth Zanone of Waldport, Ore., and Linda L. Anderson of Vincentown, N.J.; a stepson, Jason Haas of Casa Grande; a stepdaughter, Tara J. Haas Mack of Waymart, Pa.; a sister, Mary Kernan of Bridgeton, N.J.; a brother, Louis Zanone of Lumberton, N.J.; and five grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Casa Grande Valley Elks Lodge, National Foundation.
