Mr. Sunna was born on Aug. 11, 1947, in Sacaton to Iver and Flora Sunna.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; two daughters and a son, Danita Moffett, Leland Sunna and Katrina Santos; 10 siblings; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Meldon Eschief, and seven siblings.
