SACATON - Geraldine Jackson Quintero, 79, died on March 28, 2016, at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.
Mrs. Quintero was born on Feb. 11, 1937, in Sacaton and was a daughter of Richard Jackson and Minnie May Morado. She was a homemaker and a member of First Pima Baptist Church who loved to read her Bible. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing by hand, embroidering and taking long drives. She loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include three daughters, Angelica D. Quintero of Blackwater, Mary Lou Hernandez of Phoenix and Barbara Quintero of Randolph; a son, Robert Quintero Sr. of Kingman; two sisters, Bernice Morales and Marlene Jackson of Blackwater; two brothers, Freeman and Rick Jackson of Blackwater; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel P., and a brother, Coleman Jackson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday at First Pima Baptist Church. The graveside service will be at 8 a.m. Tuesday in Blackwater West Cemetery, with the Rev. Eric Gibbs officiating.
