Geraldine Weaver, 46, died Dec. 4, 2010.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church in Casa Grande. The service will be at 11. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Ms. Weaver was born on Sept. 30, 1964, in Phoenix to Cleon M. Weaver and Norine Ridley. She attended elementary school in Casa Grande before the family moved to Los Angeles. She then attended school there. She accepted Christ at an early age and recently rededicated her life to him. She moved back to Arizona, where people called her “Dancer” because she loved dancing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, AZ Thompson; and a sister, Terrie L. Spears. Survivors include three daughters, Lorine Weaver of Las Vegas, Titana Weaver of the Watts section of Los Angeles and Doisha Weaver of Phoenix; three sons, AZ Weaver and Desonn Weaver of Las Vegas and Cleon Weaver of Watts; three sisters, Carmen Mason and Janet Hudson of Watts and Alicia Weaver of Phoenix; eight brothers, Eddie R. Thompson, Edgar R. Brown, Keenan Brown, Danny Ridley, Dean Weaver, Dewitt Weaver, Christopher Weaver and Martwon Weaver, all of Phoenix; and six grandchildren.
