SACATON - Gilbert Floyd Antone Jr., 40, of Sacaton died on April 4, 2014, at Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 3 Service Center. The celebration of life will be at 6 a.m. Saturday at West Casa Blanca Worshiping Center. Burial will be in Vah-Ki Cemetery.
Mr. Antone was born on July 12, 1973. He was a wildland firefighter for eight years and worked for the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs. He enjoyed spending time with his family, making people laugh, dancing with everyone and powwows. He loved his family.
Survivors include his wife, Renell; a son, Garren Antone of Sacaton; his father, Gilbert Antone Sr. of Sacaton; a brother, Dallas Havier of Sacaton; and two sisters, Lynelle Antone and Ione Havier of Sacaton. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louisa Antone, and two brothers, Milford Antone and Donavan Havier.
