Gilbert Guanajuato

CASA GRANDE - Gilbert Guanajuato, 56, died on July 15, 2019.

Mr. Guanajuato was born on Jan. 16, 1963, to Jesse and Alicia Guanajuato in Casa Grande. He attended Santa Cruz Valley Union High School and was on the wrestling team.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cookouts and going to the movies. He was a craftsman and Dallas Cowboys fan who loved watching Arizona State football games.Gilbert worked at Hexcel Corporation in Casa Grande for many years.

Survivors include a son and daughter, Gilbert Jr. and Clerissa Guanajuato of Casa Grande; two siblings, Gloria Ponce and Hector Guanajuato of Casa Grande; and his mother, of Casa Grande. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Daniel Guanajuato.

Rosary recited at 10 a.m. and memorial Mass celebrated at 10:30 on Thursday, July 25, at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy. Burial in Eloy Memorial Park.
