Gilbert Laguna

ELOY - Gilbert Laguna, 45, of Tucson died on Aug. 11, 2013.
Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Friday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy, with rosary recited at 8:30. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 by the Rev. Alonzo Garcia. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Laguna was born on Dec. 4, 1967, in Casa Grande. He was a hard worker and a service station attendant. He loved all sports, oldies music, barbecue, cook-outs and Sonora-style hot dogs. He also loved his family dearly.
Survivors include four sisters, Martha A. Medina and Gloria Guzman of Eloy, Terry Rodriguez of Casa Grande and Maria Christina Laguna of Tucson, and a brother, Willie Rodriguez of Coolidge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alcardio J. and Maria Preciado Laguna; two brothers, Richard Rodriguez and Ysidro Medina Jr.; and a sister, Irma L. Cruz.
