Gladys Brown

Gladys C. Brown, 88, died on June 21, 2012, at Hospice Family Care.
A private service was planned.
Ms. Brown was born on May 21, 1924, in Cambridge, Iowa. She moved to Casa Grande in 1969. She believed in and supported veterans and children. Although she never gave birth to children, she touched the lives of many she brought into her home and changed the outcome of the life of the daughter she adopted.
Survivors include her partner of 40 years, Carlis Ray Cook; a daughter, Karla Meehl; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
