CASA BLANCA — Gladys Violet White, 82, of Casa Blanca died on Aug. 25, 2012, at Caring House in Sacaton.
The wake will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday at her home. The funeral will be at 5 a.m. Sunday at Casa Blanca Baptist Church, with Pastor Aaron Johns officiating. Burial will be in Vah-Ki Cemetery.
Ms. White was born on Oct. 14, 1929, in Los Angeles and was a daughter of Arthur Lamore and Marianna Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of Casa Blanca Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, trips to casinos and dancing. Family was most important to her and she loved spending time with the young children. She also provided a home to other children in the community in times of need. Her favorite sayings were: "The Lord works in mysterious ways," and "Forgive and give of what you can; it may not seem like much, but love does not have a price tag on it." Mom, your love compares to no other and if this world had a "Worlds Greatest Mother" award, you would truly be its definition. May God be with you until we are together again.
