Glander Johnson, 64, died on April 19, 2015, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Casa Grande.
Ms. Johnson was born on June 17, 1950, to T.J. and Margie Johnson in DeBerry Texas. Her mother moved to Phoenix in the 1960s, where Ms. Johnson grew up and received her education, graduating from Phoenix Union High School. She later attended a trade school and received a certificate in plumbing, which became her work. The last job she had was as a taxi driver. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with children and going to casinos.
Survivors include the love of her life, James Brown, and a brother, Kevin Johnson of DeBerry.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Greater Evangelist Temple Church of God in Christ, with Superintendent Clarence Edwards officiating.
