Glenn N. Juste

SACATON — Glen Nelson Juste, 68, of Sacaton died on May 1, 2021.

Mr. Juste was born on Feb. 6, 1953, in Phoenix to Allen Nelson Juste and Geraldine J. Allison. Also called Sweet Prairie Grass, he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was devoted to his family and known for his loving spirit and kind heart. He had many lifelong friendships and was a member of Native American Church.

He traveled in and out of the state and country and multiple times to Estonia for cultural exchanges. He was a traditional spiritual leader. Having a strong faith, compassion and genuine love for others, he touched the lives of many.

Survivors include a sister, Stephanie Ahmsaty; three stepchildren, Erin Manuel, Ryan Andrews and Rebecca Makil; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Allen S.L. Juste Sr., and three siblings, Arlene Pedro, Wayne and Dean Juste.
