Glenna June Pedro

SACATON - Glenna June Pedro, 88, died on April 6, 2016, at Caring House.

Mrs. Pedro was born on June 27, 1927, in Sacaton and was a daughter of Herbert Enos Sr. and Lucy Johnson Enos. She was a mental health technician. She loved to read and meditate on the Bible and enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and watching football and basketball, especially the 49ers and Arizona Wildcats. She was a big Elvis Presley fan and loved playing the piano and singing hymns.

Survivors include a daughter, Sherie Andrews of Sacaton; two sons, Corey and Cy Pedro of Sacaton; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Silas; a daughter, LaVonne Pedro; a son, Cortland Pedro; and three brothers, Marvin, Vernon and Horton Enos.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church in Sacaton. The celebration of life will follow at 10, with the Rev. Aaron Johns officiating. Burial will be in East Sacaton Cemetery.
