Gloria Ibarra

September 28, 1942 — July 12, 2017

ELOY - Gloria Ibarra, 74, of Eloy died on July 12, 2017.
Ms. Ibarra was born on Sept. 28, 1942, in Casa Grande to Alicia and Eugene Lerma. She later had a stepfather, Reynaldo Montijo. She was known most for her loving and down-to-earth personality. She loved the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Cardinals and, always, a cold Pepsi.
Above all, she loved her family. Her grandkids meant the world to her and she was always there for them; she could never say no. Her family remembers her famous cinnamon tea as well as attending sporting events and having a green thumb.
She is survived by her five daughters, Mandy Blakes, Mary Dixon, Margie Hernandez, Melissa Ibarra and Melinda Ibarra; seven siblings, Ray Montijo, Armida Curradi, Belen "Billie" Montijo-Vasquez, Mary Montijo, Barbara Montijo, Frankie Montijo and Ernie Montijo; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Helen Lerma, and a granddaughter, Marissa Lopez.
Memorial service at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel, with Andy Estrada officiating.
