COOLIDGE - Gregory T. Young Sr., 60, of Coolidge died May 30, 2009 at Banner Desert Medical Center.


Visitation was from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday at the District 3 Service Center. The funeral was at 6 a.m. Friday at River of Life Assembly of God in Sacaton. Elder Keith Loring and Pastor Lorenzo Coops officiated. Burial was in East Sacaton Cemetery.

Mr. Young was born in Sacaton. He was a construction worker. He enjoyed making and selling all types of Indian crafts.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna J. Young-Baca of Chandler and Barbara Young of Cincinatti; a son, Greg Young Jr. of Sacaton; his mother, Barbara Wilson Brown of Coolidge; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen; a brother, Zachary Young; and his father, Felix Young.
