Guadalupe "Lupe" Nevarez

CASA GRANDE - Guadalupe "Lupe" Nevarez, 95, of Casa Grande died on June 8, 2016, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

A Pinal County native, Ms. Nevarez was born on Dec. 12, 1920, in Oracle to Francisco and Juana (Colores) Duran. A very hardworking woman, she was a farm laborer for every bit of 60 years. She enjoyed quilting and tending to the trees and general upkeep of her yard. Her main concern was raising her four sons. As a caring and loving mother, she made her home her first priority.

Survivors include two sons, Jose P. Soto of Casa Grande and Daniel Guerra of Florence. She was preceded in death by two sons, Freddy Soto and Gilbert Guerra.
